I live in West Salem. We have one bridge leading in and one bridge leading out(over the river). Yesterday someone decided that he wanted to kill himself by tying a noose around his neck and jumping. Here, I'll just post a link to the article. http://statesmanjournal.com/apps/pbc.../NEWS/50617005

Personally, I was kind of pissed that one person could shut down an entire city. There are tons of things that the police could have done to end it sooner, rather than having it last from 12:30pm to 3:30am.

Now I am sore from walking home from dinner.

I know! it was the biggest thing to happen to us in YEARS. i was having tons of fun just walking home from dinner.
